Georgia
Where every journey becomes a story
Discover Georgia
Georgia is one of the most magical destinations I have ever visited — a place where ancient history meets breathtaking landscapes, warm hospitality, and a culture that feels both deeply authentic and beautifully timeless. I’ve been fortunate enough to visit twice — once solo in summer, and again in autumn with my younger siblings. Both experiences were unforgettable.
Why Georgia Is Special
Georgia is authentic, warm, and incredibly welcoming. From its ancient traditions to its mountain landscapes and vibrant city life, it’s a country full of history and beauty. The people are famously friendly, always smiling, and eager to share their culture.
Travel Style
I experienced Georgia both as a solo traveler and as a big sister exploring with younger siblings. I stayed at Pullman Hotel Tbilisi both times, worked remotely, went on cultural tours, explored nature, connected with locals, and enjoyed Georgia’s lively nightlife and peaceful mountain views.
Stories From Georgia
Tbilisi — Where Old Meets New
Both times I visited, I stayed at Pullman Hotel Tbilisi — a modern, comfortable hotel in the heart of the city. Tbilisi itself feels like a living museum with warm lighting, cobbled streets, wooden balconies, and a cityscape that glows at night. It’s a blend of old and new, tradition and innovation, charm and energy.
Exploring Tbilisi’s Historic Sites
On my city tour, I explored Tbilisi’s most iconic landmarks: the ancient Narikala Fortress, the modern Bridge of Peace, the charming Old Town, the Mother of Georgia statue overlooking the city, the Georgian Museum of Fine Arts, and Liberty Square. The old buildings carry centuries of history, each corner telling a story of resilience, culture, and transformation.
Mountains, Monuments & Magic
I visited Jinvali Water Reservoir, the Ananuri Fortress, Gudauri’s Friendship Monument, and the breathtaking peaks of Kazbegi. Reaching the Gergeti Trinity Church — perched high on a mountain beneath Mount Kazbeg — was one of the most unforgettable moments. The views felt endless, spiritual, and absolutely surreal.
Rafting, Food & Adventure
I went water rafting with other travelers — fun, thrilling, and full of stunning mountain scenery. I also enjoyed delicious Georgian food: Khinkali, Khachapuri, and Churchkhela. Each dish is delicious in its own way — comforting, flavorful, and uniquely Georgian.
Kutaisi’s Natural Wonders
My visit to Kutaisi took me to the Okatse and Martvili Canyons and the incredible Prometheus Caves. The canyons are full of emerald water and scenic walking paths, while the caves are a magical underground world of stalactites and colorful lights.
Nightlife & New Friends
Tbilisi’s nightlife is energetic and full of life. I linked up with other solo travelers and went on a bar crawl — such an enjoyable way to meet people and experience the social side of Georgia.
Horse Riding at Lisi Mountain
I ended my tour by going to Lisi Mountain for a peaceful horseback riding experience. The nature, the light breeze, the views — it was the perfect way to end my trip.
Georgia With My Younger Siblings
My second trip to Georgia was in autumn with my younger siblings. We repeated the same beautiful route to Jinvali, Ananuri, Gudauri, Kazbegi, and the stunning Gergeti Trinity Church — just as magical as the first time.
Mtatsminda Park
We visited Mtatsminda Park by cable car — the views from the top were breathtaking. Although many rides were closed, the experience was still magical, full of nostalgia and charm.
Holy Trinity Cathedral
We visited the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi in the evening — a spiritual and stunning architectural masterpiece that glowed beautifully against the night sky.
Turtle Lake
Turtle Lake was calm, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. We rode the vintage ropeway — a unique experience that felt like stepping back in time. From the viewpoint above the lake, we saw the entire city of Tbilisi shining below us.
