France

Where every journey becomes a story

Discover France

I visited France twice — once solo and once with my younger siblings — and both times felt like a fairytale. Paris is a city that captures your heart with its beauty, elegance, history, art, and romance. From its iconic landmarks to its charming cafés and river views, every moment felt cinematic and magical.

Stories From France

Paris — A Fairytale in Real Life

Paris felt magical from the moment I arrived. I stayed in the Champs-Élysées area, surrounded by elegance, cafés, and the vibrant energy of the city. The hotel was lovely, and everything I needed was within walking distance.

Arc de Triomphe — Grand, Historic & Powerful

Seeing the Arc de Triomphe up close was breathtaking. Its enormous structure and intricate carvings stand as a powerful tribute to France’s history. Watching the traffic circle around it is a mesmerizing Parisian sight.

The Louvre — A World of Art & Imagination

The Louvre is awe-inspiring — vast halls filled with art, sculptures, history, and masterpieces from around the world. Walking through it felt like traveling through centuries of creativity and beauty.

Eiffel Tower — Paris at Its Most Magical

Seeing the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night is unforgettable. Paris glows with soft golden light, and the tower stands radiant and iconic against the night sky.

Musée d’Orsay — Van Gogh & Timeless Art

Visiting Musée d’Orsay was one of my favorite experiences. The former train station turned museum is stunning, and seeing Van Gogh’s artwork in person felt emotional and inspiring.

Jardin des Tuileries, Fontaine des Mers & Place de la Concorde

I strolled through Jardin des Tuileries, admired the fountains, and stood in the historic Place de la Concorde. Every corner felt like stepping into a painting — elegant, peaceful, and beautifully Parisian.

Navigating Paris — Subways, Buses & City Life

I explored the city using Paris’s intricate metro and bus system — an adventure on its own. Getting lost was fun; it led me to unexpected cafés, shops, and charming neighborhoods.

Champs-Élysées — Heart of Paris

The Champs-Élysées was the perfect place to hang out — lively, fashionable, and full of culture. Staying in this area made the entire experience even more special.

Evening River Seine Cruise — Romance & Lights

I took a beautiful evening boat ride on the Seine, passing the Notre Dame, Pont Alexandre III, and Paris’s glowing landmarks. The reflections on the water made the moment truly magical.

Paris With My Siblings — Disney Magic & Landmarks

The second time I visited Paris was with my younger siblings. Coming from Belgium, we made a stop in France specifically to visit Disneyland before heading to Italy. Their excitement made everything feel new again.

Disneyland Paris — Magic in Every Season

Disneyland began rainy, but the sun broke through and we enjoyed rides, laughter, and magical moments. Spring weather was unpredictable, but they loved every minute. Summer is the best time to visit, but even in the rain, it was a beautiful experience.

Revisiting Parisian Icons With Them

We revisited the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and took another boat tour on the river Seine. Watching Paris through their eyes made me fall in love with the city even more.
